ŠČOTKA Group is a family brand, that unites two companies – V I K O spol. s r. o. and APL TREND s.r.o. The companies, which are located in the common area in the village of Považská Teplá, cooperate very closely in the production process and administrative tasks.

The story of the family business began in 1995 when Mr. Ladislav Ščotka joined V I K O spol. s r. o. after several years of independent business as a half owner and from November 1996 he became the sole owner of the company.

Today company V I K O spol. s r. o. is successfully managed by two brothers Ing. Peter Ščotka PhD. and Mgr. Miloš Ščotka, who took over from their father Ladislav Ščotka in 2016 after many years of experience in company management.

The company V I K O spol. s r. o. was founded in 1993 as a company dealing with the concrete production of blocks and steel meshes. Since its establishment, the company has also dealt with steel structures. The design, production, and assembly of steel structures and locksmith products is still its main activity today. By gradually expanding the company and trying to satisfy their clients as much as possible, they currently offer complex services with an emphasis on high-quality construction preparation and the shortest possible assembly time at the customer’s place.

In 1998, there was an incentive to expand the business area and space for the creation of a second company – APL TREND s.r.o. The company operates mainly in the engineering and automotive industries. In addition to the installation, transport, and maintenance of machines, which it has been engaged in since its establishment, the company is engaged in more complex and technically demanding activities. It can thus offer its customers very sophisticated solutions for the optimization and automation of production and thereby support the growth and productivity of its customers‘ companies. This mainly concerns the design, development, and production of single-purpose devices, manipulators, complete conveyor systems, and peripherals of machines and production lines. They strive to provide customers with complete support in the field of automation, which is why they are currently working on the development of their robotic machines.
